NY STATE HOUSING MARKET NEWS

Interest rates continue to be excellent, and
the market is improving in NYS and nationally.

NY's first quarter sales were up nearly 18%
compared to the first quarter of 2009, according to
to single-family sales data from the NY State
Association of REALTORS.

In this same time frame, the 2010 first quarter
statewide median sales price rose by more
than 12%.
